Mullaway Primary School celebrated Grandparents' Day on Thursday, October 29th. We had a fantastic response from our grandparents who joined in our activities which included; dancing, reading, playing pre-technology games and using our new iPads.
For lunch we had a delicious shepherd's pie followed by scones, cream and jam for afternoon break as part of our green canteen's meal deal
The celebration culminated with our students singing "Gold" as part of the Music Count Us In initiative.
It was wonderful to see our grandparents engaging in our students' learning and getting an insight to Mullaway Primary School.
Thank you to all our grandparents and parents who supported our Grandparents' Day.
I would also like to acknowledge our fabulous canteen volunteers who sold over 200 pre-ordered meal deals as well as extra sales on the day. We really appreciate your contribution and commitment - Thank you!
Thank you also to our teachers and support staff who prepared our activities and program.
More photographs of the day can be viewed on our website in our Term 4 gallery.
