Soccer Success for Mullaway!

Congratulations to the Mullaway Primary School Girls' Football team who defeated Sandy Beach Public School to qualify for the next round of the PSSA knockout competition.

Both the girls and boys teams played Sandy Beach Public School at Woolgoolga on Friday, June 3rd.

Team players, Aquila Hardman and Isaac Noakes submitted the following reports:

  • Everyone in the girls' soccer team tried their best. Sandy Beach had two goals and so did Mullaway, so in the end it counted on corners and Mullaway won by one corner. The girls pushed each other to the limits. Now the girls will go to the next level. The girls are super excited. Go Mullaway Girls! - Aquila Hardman
  • Today the Boys Soccer Team went off to play Sandy Beach at the High Street Soccer Fields. Overall the day went really well even though we lost 1-0. It was a hot day which made it hard for both teams to run around. All the players played really hard and did their best and Mr King was very proud - Isaac Noakes

Thank you to Mr. King and Mrs. Gray (who managed the team on her day off!) for their commitment to the team and to the parents who assisted with transportation.
