Mullaway Primary School hosted a Fathers' Day Breakfast before school on Friday, August 31st. It was a successful and popular event with over 130 guest.
For only $5.00 our guest could choose any combination from french toast, creamy scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, breakfast rissole, spicy tomato and onion or breakfast sausage.
The breakfast was held under our Big Shed providing an alfresco experience and a great way to celebrate the last day of winter.
This was our second Fathers' Day Breakfast and it has become one of the highlights on our P&C calendar. The success of our breakfast is due to the dedication and commitment our our P&C fundraising committee. Philip Clements, the coordinator of the Fathers' Day Breakfast was on site from 2:00am (with his son Kye in Year 6) and joined by his family and other volunteers who were on site from 5:00am onwards. Thank you to all our parent volunteers (and their children).
I would like to acknowledge our teachers who were also on site from 7:00am to support the Fathers' Day Breakfast.
Most importantly, thank you also to our fathers' who supported the event, we hoped you enjoyed your breakfast.
