Premier's Spelling Bee Champions

Congratulations to our 2012 intra-school Premier's Spelling Bee champions; Jamila (Year 6), Rebecca (Year 5), Jesse (Year 4) and Chelsea (Year 3).

The four champions are now eligible to represent Mullaway Primary School at the Regional finals on Wednesday, September 12th (Week 9) in Sawtell.

Our intra-school competition was held on Wednesday and Thursday of Week 3 for primary aged students (Years 3-6). The Premier's Spelling Bee is a knockout competition in which students are eliminated after spelling a word incorrectly. Competitors have to spell the word verbally in front of their peers and an audience, a challenging task!

This is our second year in the State-wide competition and I would like to acknowledge Ms. Hills the 2012 coordinator for conducting a professional and popular competition.

We wish our finalist the best of l-u-c-k at the Regional finals in September!
