Public Speaking Finals - Years 3 and 4

Our Stage 2 public speaking finals were held on Wednesday, April 1st with eight selected students from Years 3 and 4 presenting their prepared speech and an impromptu speech to the whole school.

The prepared speeches covered a diverse range of topics including; playing sport, logging, technology, a new water park, sharks, rhinoceroses, animals in the environment and smoking. The topic for the impromptu was "being honest".

It was wonderful to see the depth of talent amongst our Stage 2 public speakers and it is evident that they have a bright future ahead. Well done, Dayne, Isaac, George, Cleo, Dhakkini, Cypress, Cassidy and Leevon!

Of the eight finalists, two will be selected to represent our school at the zone level, along with two Stage 3 finalists. The decision will be announced by our judges on Thursday, April 2nd.
