Mullaway Primary School celebrated NAIDOC Week with a focus day on Tuesday, June 23rd.
The focus day was integrated with our Peer Support program with group rotations participating in; boomerang artwork, tasting bush tucker prepared by Sue Tomkins, dreamtime stories with Aunty Ange, hunting and indigenous games and a bush tucker walk with Uncle Mark Flanders.
It was a great opportunity for all our students to learn more about our local indigenous culture.
Thank you to Miss. Hills, our Aboriginal education coordinator who planned the NAIDOC celebration events.
